Free Euro 2004 GPS Software
Posted by marlof in "SOFTWARE" @ 03:00 AM
ICEP is giving away a free GPS and Mapping software for all the Portuguese cities that host Euro 2004 games. These maps come with complete tourist info. To see what this app can do, you can go to the software developer's site. The free version is a stripped-down version of the main app, without a bit of info and photos, but still, the main functionality is there. That was the good part.
Now for the bad part: the site that is offering this is really, really buggy, but thanks to the help of Bruno Figueiredo we might get this to you after all. To get to the site offering this software click the title of this post or Google "cityhelp euro 2004" and click on the second link. If this doesn't work for you (it doesn't for me), you can also try direct downloading through the links Bruno was kind enough to provide: If you have a Pocket PC with an SH3 processor, you should change the letters "ARM" with "SH3" in the URL of these files to get the SH3 version. To get the Symbian 61 version you need to modify the URL as well as this example link shows. To get the app in spanish substitute EN (English) for ESP. In portuguese substitute for PT. If you want to have this software in the language of the future champion ( ;) ) you should substitute EN for DUT. If anyone finds other codes for languages, please post them as a response to this article, so others can benefit as well. Have fun!
