"The Thermal-Eye 500DX combines a real-time infrared radiometer with the flexibility of an iPAQ PDA in a lightweight, handheld package. The Thermal-Eye 500DX comes with the same suite of tools as the original Thermal-Eye 500D with the addition of a new feature set and competitive price."
"The addition of a visible light camera, extended temperature range, updated iPAQ and expanded field of view all make this camera a tough competitor in the industrial marketplace. The fully integrated visible light camera affords the ability for a split screen display on the PDA."
Wouldn't the backlit screen of the iPAQ sort of ruin your own night vision? It may not matter with all of this equipment but I know once you look at a bright light source, you can't see anything until your eyes readjust to the darkness. This does show though that I don't think there are really any applications that Pocket PC hasn't been used in. :D
