Handango Launches Download Client for Windows Mobile
Posted by Jonathon Watkins in "SOFTWARE" @ 09:00 PM
Handango has just launched Handango InHand, a "intelligent device-resident download client (sic), for Windows Mobile-based Smartphones". :razzing: You do know why it's needed right?
"Current market estimates indicate that less than 10% of mobile phone users actively customize their phones with downloads. With market trials of Handango InHand, Handango has seen rates increase in a range of 20% to 40%, indicating strong potential for order-of-magnitude growth in operator revenues from download services." So that's you telt!
"Using Handango InHand, operators can deliver software, games, themes and ringtones. All downloads represent the freshest and best titles available because they are hand picked from Handango's selection of more than 75,000. Using Handango InHand, mobile subscribers can try, download and buy titles with just a few keystrokes." Which is nice.
So now you have no excuse – get downloading folks, you know it makes sense!
