Pros:
- SPOT concept is fantastic;
- Large display, easy to see;
- Decent access to a variety of information sources;
- Impressive battery life.
- Not very comfortable as a watch;
- Buttons require too much force;
- Functions may be better performed by other devices that you carry.
The Fossil Abacus SPOT watch is an interesting concept, but for my needs, a failed execution. The idea of a device that actively gets pushed data over FM radio frequencies is compelling, because it allows for scenarios that are much smoother than using a Pocket PC or Smartphone and GPRS/1xRTT. But is it compelling enough to make it worth carrying another device with you? That depends on your needs.
