BuZZone Business Edition Released
Posted by Janak Parekh in "SOFTWARE" @ 02:00 PM
"Exion Systems announced the release of BuZZone Business Edition, a BuZZone solution for business use. BuZZone is a program running on Bluetooth PDAs and laptops that makes it easier to search for new business contacts at trade shows and to exchange contact information and other valuable materials in text or voice modes. The system is empowered with Bluetooth wireless technology that is becoming increasingly popular worldwide."
I posted about the personal edition a few months ago; the concern I had stated then still remains -- how is someone supposed to exchange information with others unless BuZZone happens to be on their device as well? I think this could take off if these guys can manage to strike deals with OEMs... or perhaps the trade show vendors: imagine having a booth where you could have BuZZone beamed to you, much like the trade show catalogs you can now get at CeBIT and others -- at that point, you could potentially have a significant number of BuZZone users on the floor. Until then, I'll reserve judgement on how successful this technology will be.
