Well, our enormous 15 week contest has finally come to a close, and the winner of the 1 gigabyte CompactFlash card is cslaughtermd. Congratulations on the win! :way to go:
That wraps up our Big Thinker contest, and I want to especially thank our sponsors, Viewsonic, Iogear, Pharos, Sena, Roadwired, Colorgraphic, Microsoft, and Handango. I also want to thank you, our subscribers, because your financial support allowed me to purchase many of these prizes as giveaways, which in turn made it a lot more fun for everyone involved. There were over $2700 USD in prizes given away, and it brought me a great deal of joy surprising someone with a "You Won!" message. :-D
I hope everyone has enjoyed this contest, and I want to also thank everyone who sent in post cards. There were 50 post cards in total, and they were from all over the world: Canada, Finland, the UK, the USA, and many more countries. It was always exciting to check my mail and see a new post card from someplace I've never been to. :-) At some point in 2004 I want to have a "post card only" contest where everyone will send in a post card in order to win a really great prize (like a Pocket PC).
Thanks for your continued support in making Pocket PC Thoughts a great place to be. We've got some great promotions coming up this week for subscribers, so stay tuned!
