Windows Mobile Usergroup Tour: Toronto Stop
Posted by Jason Dunn in "EVENT" @ 02:00 PM
Since I wasn't able to make it to the only Canadian stop on the Windows Mobile Usergroup Tour, I enjoyed reading this event report over at Pocket PC Passion.
"Tuesday we had The Users Group Tour stop in Toronto for the first Pocket PC event to be held in Canada. Attendance was close to 300 people. So far this is the be attended of the stops. With that kind of attendance we can only hope for more. There were almost 90 prizes given away, including two Ipaqs. Toshiba Canada chipped in with a new e405 as well.
Nicole Papineau Community Program Manager for mobile devices did a Smartphone presentaion, and Dale did demos with several Pocket PCs and Smartphones. We were lucky to be able to get Sierra Wireless to come with their new Voq Smartphone which Dale showed off."
