Nokia 3650 Bluetooth GPRS Phone Giveaway by Spb Software House
Posted by Jason Dunn in "EVENT" @ 09:05 AM
When I was down at the Handango Summit representing Spb Software House, I happened to win a Nokia 3650 phone in a contest at the end of the event. Spb Software House has generously agreed to let me give away the phone in a contest right here on Pocket PC Thoughts! Let's ignore the fact that it runs the "other" operating system - it's a GPRS phone with a built-in camera, and makes a good Pocket PC companion with Bluetooth. Just ask Ed!
So here's the deal: send an email message to ?subject=Nokia 3650 Giveaway Contest"] with the number of applications that Spb Software House has on their Web site and your Pocket PC Thoughts username. The contest will run until Friday the 8th of August 2003 at noon MST, at which point in time we'll announce the winner. Anyone is eligable to enter, as long as you're registered in our forums (hey, it's free!).
The phone comes right from Nokia, so I'm assuming that it's not SIM locked, but I haven't tested this myself. The phone is brand new, but comes as-is with no promises.
UPDATE: Please do NOT change the subject line! There's a reason why I pre-filled it, because it makes the emails much easier to spot. We'll also ship this anywhere in the world, compliments of Spb Software House. It might take a while to get to you though. Subscribers still need to enter this contest by sending in an email, since it's not a true random drawing from a group, there's a trivia question that you need to get right.
