Posted by Jason Dunn in "OFF-TOPIC" @ 12:30 PM
"On July 25th and 26th we're doing it again - Gnomedex, the convention designed for those who want to learn how technology can be used to improve their businesses, their careers, and their lives. Gnomedex 3.0 attendees include a wide range of backgrounds including IT professionals, business owners/managers, and enthusiasts from all over the world. Come for the Business! The Gnomedex speakers will discuss their business successes and risks as well as talk about "what's next" in the industry. There are plenty of business opportunitiesfor your company at Gnomedex. Come for the Technology! Our partners will demonstrate their latest innovations, show you how to work them, and teach you how it will improve your "tech life". There's plenty of technology at Gnomedex."
This is the third Gnomedex, and for the third time in a row, I'm unable to attend. On Wednesday of this week I'm flying down to Scottsdale, AZ, for the Handango Partner Summit (representing Spb Software House). But for those of you in or around the Iowa area, I've heard amazing things about Gnomedex - one person from Microsoft said it was the best conference she had ever attended, and she's been to a whole lot of them. I suggest you go check it out if you can!
On a related note, I was hoping to set up some sort of unofficial "meet and greet" with Pocket PC users in the Scottsdale/Pheonix area, but the Handango conference schedule is packed, even during the evenings! Perhaps another time Arizona...
