More Dell Axim Rumors
Posted by Janak Parekh in "HARDWARE" @ 11:00 AM
According to the latest rumors from Pocket PC Italia (Google translation here), Dell will be releasing the Axim X3 in November. There will be two versions like the X5; however, the only difference will be that the Advanced will have a 400MHz processor, as opposed to the Standard having a 300MHz. The units will have 64MB of RAM and 48MB of ROM, an SDIO slot and two battery capacities (1100mAh and 1400mAh). Both will be running Windows Mobile 2003. Finally, they're slated to release a Bluetooth/WiFi-integrated device one month after that as well as a GSM/GPRS version (which seems to jibe, to some extent, with Jason's post a few weeks ago.)
(Interestingly, Pocket PC Italia refers to the next-gen XScale PXA26x, which has flash built into it.)
