Windows Phone Thoughts: I'm Going to Disneyland...Euro Disneyland that is.

I've been invited by Microsoft to attend Mobius Europe 2003, which is being held at Euro Disneyland, Paris, at the beginning of April. I haven't been to France before, so I'm looking forward to it, although if this is anything like the other Mobius events I'll probably only see the airport, my hotel room, and the conference room. :wink: It's two days worth of jam-packed information sessions, but what I really enjoy are the discussions. Microsoft brings together people from the PDA and mobile phone world (I have to break the Canadian habit of calling it a "cell phone") and of course we all have different platforms of choice. For the most part, everyone is polite and the discussions are thought-provoking and it always opens my eyes up to what other platforms are capable of doing.

And of course, hanging out with my fellow mobile-devices geeks is always a lot of fun! Since the event is public, we rarely get any "top secret" news, but if I learn anything interesting, I'll certainly pass it along.

Full disclosure: Microsoft pays for our flights and hotel, which is handy, because if they didn't I wouldn't be going. :D We normally get a few goodies too, although I don't know what they'll be this time.
