Grab the Can of RAID - Here Comes BugLord!

One word: WOW! 8O BugLord is a RTS (real-time strategy) game with some amazing graphics, and a depth of storyline that I haven't yet seen on a Pocket PC game. Talk about ambitious: they're also releasing the same game for the Palm OS, Windows, and Mac. Curiously enough, the Pocket PC version is more expensive than the Windows version - they must be assuming it will have a lower sales volume than the Windows version (a logical assumption). The game is currently in beta, but you can pre-order the game if you like what you see.
"There's no such thing as a free meal in the animal kingdom, and in the land of insects, it's every man, or bug, for himself. If you want to survive, you must build a defensible colony. And if you want to thrive, to conquer, to become the BugLord, you need an army, complete with mercenaries, assassins, and the resources to support them. The task of conquering and defending a new home for your colony rests solely on your shoulders. You must assign workers to forage for aphids and pebbles and you'll have to battle other bug colonies that desperately need those same resources. In this world, there's not enough to go around, and if you want to make it, you must be ruthless."
Rich single-player campaign spanning 15 immense levels
Head-to-head multiplayer gaming
12 multi-player maps
Nine different smooth terrains
Alpha blended sprites
Advanced AI, including custom AI strategies
Unit upgrades
Unit groups
Particle effects
Advanced pathfinding
Support for player-defined custom maps
All of you with 32 MB Pocket PCs can pretty much forget about running this game though - look at the program memory requirements:
"14 MB of free Storage Memory is required to install BugLord (can be installed on a memory card) and 18 MB of available Program Memory is required to run it."
UPDATE: They're looking for beta testers, so if you're interested in taking this app for a trial run to find bugs, fill out this form.
