SyBase To Aquire Avantgo

"Sybase will acquire mobile communications company AvantGo in a deal worth around $38 million, the companies said Friday. 'Today's announcement is an important part of iAnywhere Solutions' strategic plans to fuel new growth in the mobile and wireless arena,' Sybase CEO John Chen said in a release."
Hrm.... I guess we'll have to wait and see if this is good news, bad new or no news for mobile device users. I guess the consumer product needs to start showing a bit of revenue. Start clicking on those ads in Avantgo folks! :wink:
