$15 Off Any HandHeldPlanet Pocket PC Case
Posted by Jason Dunn in "HARDWARE" @ 12:01 AM
I received an email from Mitch Weight, the President of HandheldPlanet. He has a deal that Thoughts readers may wish to take him up on:
"I’m starting a major sale that will run from now until 12/6/02. Your readers can use the coupon code PPCT.COM when they checkout to get $5 off anything they purchase. Additionally, they can use this mail-in rebate form to get a $10 rebate on any non-custom case purchased between now and 12/6/02. That’s a total of $15 off!"
There's only 48 hours to take advantage of this offer, so if you've been waiting for a price break to get a new leather case for your Pocket PC, this is it - click the affiliate link above to place your order.
I've been using their XDA case (pictured below) for my device, and I like it quite a bit. I got the version without the belt clip, which makes it easier to fit into my jacket pocket. The leather is smooth and well made. The only quirk I found is that for the first couple of weeks I was using it, every time I opened the case there were flecks of leather on the screen. They were easy enough to blow off, and the frequency of this occurrence went down after two weeks.
I'm a big fan of their products, and with a $15 discount, their XDA cases are a mere $20 - that's an awesome deal.
