Okay, I don't necessarily want to start another debate over whether wearing the SCOTTeVEST™ makes me a geek. However, Scott Jordan, creator of the SCOTTeVEST™, has announced two new versions of the vest and is offering some price discounts.
First, there's the Sport Lite. It's a lot like the standard version 2.5 vest, but it has additional features like a Coolmax® mesh interior to keep you dry, a reflective safety strip and a back pocket to allow for Camelbak® water hydration systems. The Sport Lite will be available in a gun metal gray for $99.99, but is currently being pre-sold for $89.99 until they arrive in early December.
Second, there's the Sport Special Edition. It has all the features of the earlier version 2.5 type, but also has limited edition features such as a mesh interior, rip-stop nylon material and hook and loop fastener cuffs. It is available in a charcoal gray rip-stop material. The Special Edition will cost $139.99, but is currently being pre-sold for $119.99 until they arrive in early December.
Now, the question becomes...Just how big a geek would I be if I actually owned TWO eVESTs?
