infoSync has some information on the new MiTAC devices. What markets are these sold in exactly? I get the sense that they're only sold in smaller Asian markets - I wonder if they have plans to enter the North American or European markets?
"MiTAC's new Mio338 Pocket PC, a product in its DigiWalker series, offers an Intel XScale PXA250 processor, a 3.5" 16-bit TFT transflective display, 32 MB of RAM and an SD/MMC Card expansion slot with SDIO support. MiTAC did not list at what speeds the XScale processor would operate, but end users are regardless likely to notice little performance improvement over 206 MHz ARM processors as the Pocket PC 2002 platform used by the device - along with most Pocket PC applications - do not make use of the full capabilities of XScale processors."
