Bad news for Loox owners - the GPRS attachment won't be coming out after all. I remember seeing a prototype at CeBIT earlier this year, and it seemed like a decent solution. Arne Hess has the rest of the story, but it seems that Fujitsu-Siemens will be looking to third-party CompactFlash solutions.
Talk about losing momentum - for a while there it seemed like the Loox was going to be the superstar of the Pocket PC world, but things seem to have fizzled a bit. Let's hope they come back swinging in 2003 with a device that us in North American can buy. :D
