The CNN article "Do u luv me? Flirting goes wireless" discusses how people use new ways to pick each other up, court and express feelings. In the US, SMS is taking on but so far pagers are the more widely used devices. A London-based company recently commissioned a survey in the UK, land of SMS: "... Velocity Communications, found that just over 40 percent of those surveyed said "yes" when asked, "Have you ever sent a text message to tell someone that you fancy them?" Among the more popular lines to message: "Fancy a drink?" (Source: Media Mike)
My take? Cute, experimentive and exciting! But don't misuse, stay faithful and make sure the flirting is not distasteful.
