The Promise Of Simpler Connections

If you use your digital handset as a modem for your Pocket PC and you happen to live in Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, Italy or Switzerland, here's a tool that may simplify connecting to the 'Net. Connect2Internet from 2K Development promises to help configure your connection parameters and then allows you to launch them with a single tap.
"[Tapping] on the connect button starts the automatic detection of your mobile phone, the network operator and the supported services (like GPRS, HSCSD,...). Then the best possible connection is automatically established. When you switch to a new operator or buy a new mobile phone the software will automatically detect this and change the settings for seamless connection."
I've not been able to try this, but if it works, it sure could save lot of keystrokes. Unfortunately, the list of supported devices and wireless carriers is still fairly small:
