HP Jornada 928 WDA

It may come as no surprise that I've been impressed with the HP Jornada 928 for a while now. I held one for a short period of time during Möbius Europe 2002, and I really liked what I saw.
For me, it was bad news when I learned that the 928 was rumored to be killed due to the HP/Compaq merger, and HP deciding to go iPAQ all the way. But then...Arne Hess of PPCW.NET wrote that he learned that the 928 would be released after all, but that it would only be released in a few markets. Again I feared that I might miss the boat, as The Netherlands is not exactly the frontline when it comes to new PDAs. Happily, this will not be the case. Yesterday I learned that I will receive a WDA for testing and reviewing purposes. If the WDA lives up to my high expectations after I've used it for a while you will be able to read about it on this site at some point.
Until then, you can read the specs in a .pdf file, or do a little tour on the HP UK site, including an interactive demo.
There is also a little review on ZDNet, where the WDA does pretty well. The review is not very detailed when it comes to battery life, speed of the processor, etc., but it might give you a good idea about the device. It should be available right now through Vodafone stores in the UK, and according to the review other carriers might follow eventually.
