Dolpin Voyager embarks on European voyage

Dolphin Medical just announced that they received the CE Mark approval for the Dolphin Voyager, a pulse oximetry engine in Compact Flash format. The CE Mark approval is a conformity requirement nescessary to market and sell the product in the European Union. It is "pending approval by the FDA for sale within the United States. ... The Voyager has been CE Marked for use with the Compaq iPaq 3600, 3700 and 3800 series Pocket PCs."
"The Dolphin Voyager has an integrated fixed probe cable that maintains solid contact in high vibration environments. This cable is attached to the card with a molded strain relief and a rigid sonic wielded frame to protect against lateral stress, seal out dust and moisture and resist torque that could otherwise crack circuit board traces."
