iPAQ battery white paper

A few weeks ago I downloaded a very interesting battery white paper from Compaq - but I can't find who sent me the URL or what that URL was. At any rate, this PDF file is a very interesting read for those of us interested in battery life. Wonder where Compaq got the "12 hours of battery life" figure from? Not using the backlight at all.
Tsk tsk. Battery life should always reflect real-life use, or given in a range.
