The Roadwired Pod

If you've got a lot of digital gear, you're probably like me - always looking for a new way to carry it with you. Having recently returned from a vacation, a carrying case like this would have been excellent. It's designed for all sorts of digital gear (and could easily carry a Pocket PC and accessories), but functions primarily as a digital camera bag (or a 35 mm one - it has holders for 35 mm film). I like that it has memory card slots with reinforced backing - no pressure is put on the cards themselves. They're sending me a review unit, so I'll let you know what I think of it when I get it. Roadwired continues to make killer carrying cases!
"There's something about the Pod that seems to bring a smile to the face of anyone who picks it up. Could be the unique shape and "winged" compartment design, or could be the great colors, but this bag--much like the famous car in the commercial--just looks like it's saying "hi." That being said, the Pod is all business on the inside. It's got over 20 (!) smart compartments, and is ideal for your compact camera, MP3 player, or handheld computer, plus all the accessories that travel along."
• Over 20 pockets and compartments hold camera or other compact device, digital media and/or film, cords and adapters, batteries, mobile phone, and more.
• Fully padded main compartment features removable “hammock” that adjusts to perfectly cradle the primary device while optimizing space. Completely protected by oversized, dual-closure weather flap.
• Unique “winged” outer pocket configuration intelligently organizes accessories around the outside of main compartment. Interiors feature elasticized media/accessory organizers, flap pockets, bungee keepers for cable or lens cap, and more. All outer pockets gusseted to keep contents from falling out.

• Dual-height loops on back panel allow the Pod to be worn as a waist pack on your own belt. Padded, moisture-wicking mesh panel provides added comfort.
• Removable shoulder strap included, with all metal fittings, including no-twist swivel clips. Reinforced top carry handle.
• Exclusive Hide and Go Home™ “secret pocket” hides emergency cash, key, etc.
