How cool is this? The Clio is in space! I've always been a huge fan of the Clio, and used my C-1000 heavily for several years. Now it seems the C-1050 has found a new home - in space.
"Astronauts on the International Space Station are using Clio® C-1050 Personal Digital Assistants (PDA) to review and record their daily mission activities and as their personal email systems, announced The Pinax Group, Inc., makers of the Clio®. Several Clio® C-1050 units, which are the only "flight certified" PDA’s, traveled aboard the space shuttle Discovery last August for deployment on the International Space Station making it the first PDA in space. The Clio’s versatile technology keeps the astronauts in touch, via email, with work and family during their time aboard the International Space Station."
