April 19 2000, two years ago next Friday, the Pocket PC was launched. Steve Bush over at Brighthand gives an overview of his coverage of the Pocket PC so far, and announces 'Pocket PC week':
"So this week, in celebration of its anniversary, we've decided to focus on Pocket PC: its past, present and future. [...] Later this week we'll take a closer look at the current "Big Three" Pocket PC manufacturers, Casio, Compaq and Hewlett-Packard; and we'll also cover some of the newer devices from more recent licensees, including Toshiba, Audiovox, NEC, UR There, Fujitsu-Siemens and Hitachi. Finally, on Friday we'll take a revealing look at how Pocket PC has fared during the past two years, from both a technical and a market perspective. We'll also peer into the future and see what lies ahead."
