We've gotten word from Chris Coulter that Pocket Atari, an Atari800 emulator, has been released under a general GNU GPL. This program uses a port of an open source Atari8000 emulator to make it possible to use Atari programs on your Pocket PC whenever and wherever you want.
Like all emulators of this sort, it's likely that the program is a little on the buggy side, but hey, since it's open source you can fix the problems yourself. Right? Also it probably isn't the fastest program around, but then it’s the only program I know of that lets you play vintage Atari games on your Pocket PC. However, I suspect that the coolness factor alone will be sufficient to give this program some level of success.
