I've lost track how many times I've seen this question asked: "How can I embed Windows Media Player in Pocket Internet Explorer?". I've been told the hooks are there with Pocket PC 2002, but not being a developer, I've had no idea how to implement it. This seems to solve the issue. Developers rejoice!
"Enterprise Customers, Developers and Content Providers can create custom web based applications built around the Windows Media Player Control for Pocket IE to provide a seamless, rich media experience in a web environment without requiring the user to open up additional applications. The Windows Media Player control allows multi-media functionality to be added to Pocket PC applications which adds value for consumers as well as simplifies the overall usability of digital media in a Web application. Content can be downloaded and then played back on the Pocket PC or it can be streamed live with a wireless or wireline connection."
