[ Author’s Note: I think that it’s fitting that the first real thing I post on this site be a link to one of the, if not the first mobile tech websites that I frequented. ]
Jeff Kirvin of Writing on Your Palm has posted a review of the HP Pocket Keyboard. He seems to like it, which is vaguely surprising to me because he was fairly skeptical about the usefulness of the thumb keyboard, a few weeks ago when we discussed it. Well, people are allowed to change after all.
Jeff has concluded (and I concur), that because on screen entry is unwieldy, and unless you are planning to set up shop for a little while, the stowaway is rather inconvenient, thumb keyboards seem to be the perfect solution.
