One of the most promoted aspects of Windows Phone 7 is the hubs implementation. This unique aspect of Windows Phone 7 allows users to aggregate content from multiple apps and display it in one content-specific area (hub). With this design, apps can extend the functionality and utility of existing hubs, as opposed to adding yet another isolated program to run on your phone.
